The Science Fair

777 welcomed Admiral Jean and Commander Butz aboard to inspect and help judge the station's science fair, although they were unaware of the surprise ending that lay in wait for them. At the conclusion of the fair Lt. JG. tr’Lareth-Movar unexpectedly became possessed by a wave of grief and anger, and suddenly launched a seemingly calculated attack on the Admiral and then a much less calculated one on the Station Commander. Overcome with horror, Commander Butz attempted to take the Romulan's life, but both were transported to the brig.

The strange happenings continued with more and more people exhibiting the same pain and grief that Saren experience during the first attack. The entity involved did not stop at Saren, and proceeded to possess both Lt. JG. Rose and then Lt. JG. T'she trying to halt medical work to save the Admiral's life. A short while later the entity then possessed Lieutenant tr'Torre'vnau, but struggled to stay conscious with impaired vision as the bright lights were too much for a Reman body without proper protection.

The final showdown occurred in the brig where CSO Lhai'Ivek and other Science officers were trying to comfort Saren whilst also trying to fend off the entity. Ensign Umali discovered the presence of Chroniton Particles and he and Evoras were able to force the entity to materialise, stopping it from possessing anyone else. A day later the entity was identified as Nirral tr'Havraha. It was speculated that he had been almost killed during the Hobus Supernova but knocked out of phase by technology aboard his ship, resulting in him turning into this 'ghost' capable of possession. Medical officers were unable to save the life of the 'ghost,' but with their efforts, he did not die in pain.
