For officers, quarters are generally shared between two people. Senior staff do not have to share, and exceptions are made for families or people who prefer to stay by themselves. For civilians, they are housed individually unless they request otherwise.
The living room acts as a shared communal area and then each officer has their own bedroom and bathroom. Upon arriving at their quarters for the first time, an officer will have all of the standard furniture but no ornaments or décor - it's up to them to decorate. The bed is always made with bedsheets corresponding to the colour of the officers' division, but they're free to change this if they so desire. Officers are also allowed to add their own furniture if it's small enough to fit.
