This species is not a member of the Federation. In order for a character of this species to apply to Starfleet Academy, they will have required a letter of recommendation from a Starfleet officer ranked Commander or higher.

Extensive detail on their past is required; if you're writing them to be a long-lived character, then you need to include detail on what they've done for all of that time. While we understand the appeal of making long-lived characters, please remember that the older the character you go for, the more you have to write and the more the admins need to check over! The oldest age you can go for is 350.
