For Character Sheets 

If you are going to write an augmented character, please be sensitive to the real-world issues surrounding genetic modification and eugenics. Please discuss your idea with the admins first; character ideas will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. The details of the augmentations then need put on their character sheet. 

Augmentation is banned in the Federation. Any character who has been augmented must have been done so as a child, and as such, the choice was not their fault. Any adult who has consented to augmentation would have made an illegal choice.

Please ensure that any augmentation is not too overpowered and that it would fit the narrative. For example, Illyrians modify themselves instead of changing the planets they've settled on; so if they settled on a desert planet then a character may have been genetically engineered to be more resistant to extreme temperatures.
